Option 1:

Liability and Loss Damage Waiver US$12 per day

1. Liability: the Customer is covered up to $700,000 pesos (about US$20,000) in property damages. $700,000 in case of one (1) person injured. $1,000,000 (about US$29,000) in case of two (2) or more persons injured.

2. Loss Damage Waiver: the Rented Vehicle is completely covered, but subject to the deductible specified in the contract depending on the Customer’s Rented Vehicle.

3. The deductible is to be paid in both cases, but only one time if Liability and Loss Damage Waiver are necessary.

4. Casa del Conductor is included as well.

Additional information

* The Customer should always take one of the 2 Coverage Options. It is against the law to drive in the Dominican Republic with no Liability. Liability from another country is not accepted.

* The coverage will always be up to the specified amount in every case.

* The Customer should always provide a form of deposit to be used by the Car Rental to cover the deductible in case of taking coverage option 1. In case of option 2 the Customer should de able to leave a deposit of US$2500 or 25% of the value of the Rented Vehicle, whichever is greater.

* The forms of deposit accepted are: Credit Cards and Cash Deposits. The total amount of the deposit will always be returned at the end of the rental as long as the Rented Vehicle is returned in the same conditions in which the Customer took it.

* The Car Rental, with the Customer, will always make an inspection of the Rented Vehicle at the beginning of the rental and at the end of the rental and all the details will be written in the Rental Agreement.

* We accept all major Credit Cards, including American Express and debit cards as long as they have the VISA and MasterCard logo.

* If the Customer has a Credit Card that provides insurance, it would be accepted, meaning that the Car Rental will provide the Customer with any and all documents necessary for the Customer to receive a refund from the Credit Card company.

* The Customer should, always, inform the Car Rental in case of an accident o any other type of damage occurred to the Rented Vehicle.

* The Customer should, never, Fix, Paint, or make any kind of Reparations to the Rented Vehicle.

* In case of an accident the Customer should not comment, accept or sign anything that may make Him/Her responsible unless directed by the Car Rental or the Customer may lose coverage or may be responsible for paying any amount that exceeds the specified coverage.

* If there is an injured person that needs assistance, it would be appreciated if the Customer decided to help, however, the Customer should always take the injured person to a Public Hospital.

* Never should the injured person be taken to a Private Clinic, in that case the Customer may have to sign an agreement with the Private Clinic that will make him responsible for the medical bill and the Customer may lose the coverage or would have to pay any additional amounts that exceed the specified coverage.

Option 2:

Liability Only US$8.00

1. Coverage up to $700,000 pesos (about US$20,000) in property damages. $700,000 in case of one (1) person injured. $1,000,000 pesos (about US$29,000) in case of two (2) or more persons injured.

2. The deductible for Liability is US$200 and the Customer is responsible at all times for any and all damages that may occur to the Rented Vehicle while it is under the Customer’s responsibility.

3. The Customer is responsible for paying the total amount of the damages occurred to the Rented Vehicle in any and every situation when taking coverage Option 2. No exceptions.

4. Casa del Conductor is included as well.
